2-Nitro Para PhenylenediamineIt is primarily used as a raw material for the pigmentation of hair dye intermediate and dye itself, most notably in hair dye formulations. It is a key ingredient semi permanent and permanent (tinting) hair dyes, contributing to the production of various types of Brown, Burgundy and Red Shades. It is used in shampoo-based formulations. It is also used as a dye intermediate particularly in the production of textile dyes. It also finds an application in photographic paper processing, antioxidants, in manufacturing of azo dyes and photographic developing agent & accelerators for rubber vulcanization.
